Quality Second-hand refurbishment Pdc Bit
1. Quality Second-hand refurbishment Pdc BitMatrix body PDC bit
The “matrix” is a very hard, rather brittle composite material containing tungsten carbide grains combined with a softer, tougher metal binder metallurgy. The matrix is ideal as a drill material because of its hardness and resistance to wear and erosion. It is capable of withstanding higher compressive loads, but less resistant to impact loads than steel. The matrix is relatively heterogeneous because it is a composite material. Because it contains tungsten carbide particles that vary in size and location (depending on design and environment, its physical properties are slightly less predictable than steel’s. Matrix body PDC bits are generally superior to steel body bits for body corrosion environments and are likely to lead to bit failure. For diamond impregnated bits, only the matrix body structure can be used.
2. Quality Second-hand refurbishment Pdc Bit Steel PDC bit
Steel is opposed to the matrix. It can withstand high impact loads, but is softer and lacks protection. The strength and ductility of steel give the steel bit body high impact resistance. The steel body is much stronger than the matrix. An advantage of steel drill bits is that they can be easily rebuilt multiple times, as wear on damaged cutting tools can be easily replaced. This is a particular advantage for operators in low-cost drilling environments.
