1. The mechanism and function of the cotton-grabbing machine
（1） FA002 series disc-type cotton grabber
It can organize cotton, cotton-type chemical fibers, and medium-length chemical fibers (below 76mm). It mainly consists of cotton-grabbing cart 4, cotton-conveying pipeline 5, ground rail 1, inner wall panel 8, outer wall panel 3, etc.

- Cotton grabbing cart: composed of a beater 2 (serrated blade, partition plate, beater shaft, end plate, etc.) and ribs 9, connected by a bracket and running clockwise along the ground rail, its operation is controlled by the next finishing tube. The cotton-grabbing cart decreases by 3-6mm every week of operation. When the cotton-grabbing cart is running, the ribs are tightly pressed on the cotton bales. The teeth of the cotton grabber extend out of the ribs to grab the cotton blocks one by one. The airflow generated by the cotton condenser or fan on the lower machine is sent to the lower machine through the cotton conveying pipeline. When encountering a traffic jam caused by a hitter winding around flowers during operation, the speed relay (centrifugal switch) installed on the frame sends a signal, causing the hitter and the electric motor of the car to immediately stop running. After the operator solves the problem, it will be restarted. The centrifugal switch is driven by the driver’s belt pulley. When the thug rotates, drag the centrifugal switch. If the thug slows down for reasons such as the thug getting stuck in traffic, the contacts of the centrifugal switch will separate, and the crane motor will stop rotating. The thug will be positioned and unable to grasp the raw materials. If the speed of the thug rebounds, the centrifugal switch closes, the crane motor starts, and the thug resumes grasping the raw materials.
2. Cotton grabbing beater: composed of beater shaft, spacer plate (31 pieces in total), serrated blade, end plate, etc.
The number of blade teeth on each partition is divided into three groups from the inside out:
Inside a group (1-12 pieces): each piece has 9 teeth;
Middle group (13-20 pieces): each piece has 12 teeth;
Outer set (21-31 pieces): Each piece has 15 teeth.
The purpose of the sparse and dense blade teeth configuration is to reduce the difference in opening between the inner and outer cotton blocks during cotton grabbing, thereby improving the uniformity of opening.
